Can you imagine having an intimate get together in this space….lanterns and rope lights illuminating the outside and casting the room with a warm yellow glow. Minimal lighting inside…candles and more lanterns line the table along with delicious food and heavenly booze. This is an entertainers paradise (from what we can see so) - count me in!! All that’s missing is some sort of POP of color, I’m thinking blue to contrast the red of the brick.
While a liquid soap dispenser is very convenient, a good old solid bar of soap is a much ‘greener’ option, as it’s more concentrated and doesn’t require a plastic bottle. But squishy, wet soap bars next to the basin are a pain, and they harbour bacteria too. So, what to do? Young designer Nathalie Stämpfli has come up with a very satisfactory solution with her Soap Flakes soap holder. It takes an ordinary bar of soap, and shaves off tiny soap flakes every time you want to wash your hands.
YOOOOO!!! I’d love to use my bar soaps this easy without dropping the soap or having that mushy bar thing happen in the dish.
This room is sassy/spunky already - so cool! Just gimme a splash of red, green, or purple & it’ll be complete!
This space is just….ultimate! The height, the windows, the detail in the floors (be sure to notice that), the windows & natural lights….
*cries tears of beauty*
Now sass the place up! That simple color scheme is screaming for a large blue couch (maybe yellow…butter yellow), a huge brightly colored statement rug, and some accompanying art on the walls to bring out said colorful accents. OOOHH, the possibilities!
Dang….what does the rest of the house look like *stares off into space*
a little late night office inspiration from @architecturaldigest
*squeals of joy*
…inspired to create a gorgeous dresser like this. #lacquer
It is my dream to own a dresser, hutch, desk, and any other piece of household furniture with droors/handles/cabinets/handles that is lacquered up in some beautifully sassy color. Lacquer is literally a representation of who I am and it will be found all over my home!
Can you imagine sittig under this patio while it rains? Its perfection! I’m pretty sure that glass enclosure we cant fully see is a fireplace so…bring on the rain storm, your bffs, some smores, and wine! Scratch that, a complete dinner party, just add loads of huge candles and I’m there!
What would a post from me be if I didnt suggst a sassy pop of color? Well, they got that ball rolling with the orange and red accents so - play it up! More orange goodness and more red hottness!!
Side note: I hope theres a pool…
This room is perfection! However, can I get some super small twinly lights added to the ceiling to make it look like a starry night? Pretty please…? The contrast between the floors and the ceiling is awesome! The furniture is great…although I’d change the color of the couch…or maybe the rug. Once again that sassy pop of color is missing…what would work best here? My gut is telling me red. Either make the couch red o exchange that rug for a huuuuge red one (with some sort of black design on it). BOOM.
Talk about grand and glamorous! The only thing missing from this space is a sassy pop of color! Royal blue, rich purple, or emerald green come to mind for this space - any of them would pop while complimenting the colors already present perfectly! Mmmm, thinking about an emerald green velvet couch (or rug) in this room is making my mouth water!
Cool Floor To Ceiling Blue Wardrobe Idea As Modern Apartment MKW Room Divider With Nice Storage Space Installed Inside It on We Heart It
Oh…my…GLOB! Ok, sure its beautiful on the outside, but we dont get to see the awesomeness of the inside *major sad face*. Fear not design enthusiasts, need a super nifty way to divide a huge room? Need some extra closet space without acutally expanding your closet? Just want a visually stunning wardrobe to make people jealous? Here is your solution! And dont get me started on that color….its beautifullll. I wonder if closet maid would create something like this on the cheap…
I want a bedroom/house with window seats at every window. Look how charming they are - even while bare. And the flooring? It’s rich, rustic, and warm. With these kind of bones, adding pops of sass and color to the space will make it…perfect. The contrast of warm & a tad dark with the sass & color will be amazing! Not feeling color? Even adding neutrals will make this space one of a kind.
Goodness my mind is swimming with ideas already…
So much yes! However, I’m not hot for the floors, if they were a rich dark hardwood - everything else in the room would POP. The huge windows…imagine waking up to the sunrise through them! Or watching the sunset. Or just watching the city! *cries tears of jealousy* And ceiling art? You don’t see that every day, but HELLOOOO it’s the perfect addition to this space!
